USMDDirect provides HIPAA-compliant, cloud-hosted telemedicine services.The platform offers web-based HD video conferencing for private, secure sessions between patients and doctors, billed per minute of usage — pay only for what you use.

Remote Physical Examination

Physicians can remotely examine patients using the USMDDirect stethoscope and ENT camera, enabling assessment of:

• Heart sounds
• Lung sounds
• Abdominal sounds
• Ear/Nose/Throat
• Dialysis graft/fistula bruits

Patient Health Records (PHR)

Physicians can enroll patients in their organization and create a patient PHR web portal, which includes:

• Video conferencing
• Remote physical examination
• Patient health profile — PMH, PSH, FH, SH, medications, labs, adverse drug reactions, notes
• RPM (remote patient monitoring) device data monitoring
• DMP (disease management protocols)
• Medication management
• Doctor appointments

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)

USMDDirect provides RPM devices integrated directly with the USMDDirect patient portal. Currently supported are Bluetooth-enabled devices for blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and weight — all connected via the free “USMDDirect RPM” app, available on both the Apple and Google app stores.

• USMDDirect charges $30/month per patient, cancelable at any time
• Patients get a web portal page with their RPM data, which can be shared with other providers
• RPM devices integrate directly with USMDDirect web portals

Billing

USMDDirect uses a fair meter/usage-based billing model, invoicing monthly based on actual consumption:

Monthly Charge = Base Fee + Storage + Data Transfer + Video Minutes + Optional Services

Example rates:

• Base software subscription: $75/month
• Storage: $0.20/GB
• Data transfer: $0.08/GB
• Video: $0.05/minute
• AI assistant: $0.01/request
• SMS/Email reminders: $0.03/message

This ties charges directly to the services doctors or organizations actually use.
